About ME

I'm Berenice Espinoza, FNP When I was a kid, I always felt a sense of giving, leading, and inspiring. I especially felt that I had so much to give back to the community in terms of service. My quest has not been easy but it has definitely made me who I am today. I left home at a young age to start a family with my husband of 22 years. There were many challenges along the way such as becoming a one-income family with 3 children so that I could attend nursing school full-time. The biggest challenge was the time I took away from my husband and my children. My motivation to keep striving was the end goal of becoming a registered nurse. I wanted to make my family proud to be the first to have a degree. That was my first milestone!

While I was in nursing school I had an inexplicable feeling of working in the children’s cancer ward. My fascination with the children was probably sparked by their resilience and happiness despite their demise, but I don't know. Even though I wanted to be a pediatric oncology nurse, I became an adult oncology nurse for the last 6 years of my career. It was the best experience. I connected with each patient and got to know them, their families, and even their pets.  While I worked there I felt an urge again to increase the care I could provide my cancer patients. So, I enrolled back in school to become a nurse practitioner. Again, not without encountering challenges along the way. I continued to study and work full-time until my body and mind could not take it anymore. I had to cut back on working with my cancer patients part-time until graduation.

I would not have been able to become a Nurse Practitioner without the support of my loving husband, both my daughters, my son, my co-workers (friends), my parents, the rest of my family, and of course my patients, for helping me push forward and not letting me give up despite the challenges that came our way.  Now, I’m here to help the community become knowledgeable about their health with the help of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. This will help their body and mind recover, get up and go with more energy, and with my support accomplish milestones together!
